Cherry Lemonade
Just the other night, Jason and I were packing up some boxes for our move to LA when I came across a brand new cherry pitter that I’ve never used before. It may have been sitting in our cabinet for a year now, so instead of packing it up with the rest of our kitchen stuff, I decided to christen it with this amazing cherry lemonade.
There’s absolutely no simple syrup or straining involved here. All you have to do is pitt your cherries and throw everything else right into the blender. When ready to serve, just pour in your cherry mixture with sparkling water and that’s it! It’s incredibly refreshing with the perfect combination of sweet and tartness in a glass of bubbly goodness. It’s so good, you’ll want to sip on this all year long.
You are more than welcome to make this lemonade in advance. Just assemble it and store in a pitcher in the fridge. Then as you go to serve it up, pour over ice.
You don’t want to add ice to start with as it will melt and water down your drink if you let it sit.
Store any lemonade you don’t drink right away in a pitcher. The lemonade will store for around 3.5 days.
